AR-15 M-LOK Handguard Tihon “Reaper Edition” – free-float, titanium barrel nut, Cerakote

AR-15 M-LOK Reaper Edition handguard by Tihon is a free-float system with a titanium barrel nut and a monolithic CNC-milled “Reaper” design. Made from aerospace aluminum alloy and finished with Cerakote H-Series for maximum wear resistance. Available colors: Black H-146, Coyote H-232, Olive H-240. Other colors – on request.

Why a titanium barrel nut matters

• Lower front-end weight – better rifle balance and faster target-to-target transitions.
• High corrosion resistance – commercially pure titanium without coating resists corrosion even in harsh conditions.
• Thermal stability – titanium doesn’t creep when hot, maintains fit and torque.

Key benefits

• Free-float construction – the handguard doesn’t touch the barrel, improving POI stability.
• Monolithic Reaper design – skulls are one-piece CNC features that do not reduce strength; generous airflow for barrel cooling.
• M-LOK on top and bottom – fast mounting of lights, grips, bipods. Dedicated holes for our branded Tihon Picatinny rails (rails not included).
• Suppressor friendly – outside Ø 50 mm, inside Ø 46 mm. Fits integrated moderators MARA L INTEGRA, Oberig L INTEGRA, Vihor L INTEGRA.
• Gas systems – carbine, mid-length, rifle. A low-profile gas block fits freely, including our adjustable model.
• Sling mounts – no built-in QD sockets, but our QD kits for M-LOK and Picatinny fit perfectly.

Mounting design

• The base locks to the titanium barrel nut with set screws (grub screws).
• The handguard attaches to the base with screws. Allen key included.

Typical torque values

• Barrel nut: 40 – 68 N·m with alignment for the gas tube. Do not exceed 80 N·m.
• Base set screws: 3 – 4 N·m.
• Handguard screws: 5 – 7 N·m.
