Integrated Suppressor with Gas Relief Vihor 50 BMG-Integra
What makes Vihor series sound moderators different from many other suppressors available on the modern Ukrainian market from various manufacturers?
First of all, it is an original in-house development. The Vihor project incorporates the best global trends, advanced technologies, and premium materials.
Before entering serial production, the product underwent a series of field tests, which together resulted in a high-quality Ukrainian product.
Now to the point. Vihor is always titanium.
The sound moderator requires no additional maintenance; due to its properties, titanium is neutral to any aggressive environment. It is a monolithic construction manufactured on CNC machines, eliminating the influence of the human factor.
This ensures quality control at every stage of production.
This comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty regardless of round count.
Finally, it features the proprietary Vihor™ gas relief system, which prevents excess “over-gas” pressure, increases barrel service life, and guarantees proper operation of the weapon’s mechanisms.
Hundreds of satisfied owners—hunters, sports shooters, and soldiers. Vihor quality has been proven on the front line.
What are the advantages of an integrated suppressor over “classic” models?
First, the overall length of the weapon is reduced and the suppressor’s weight is shifted closer to the center, improving aiming comfort.
Second, the portion that overlaps the barrel is actively involved in the operation of the sound-absorbing system during each shot. This allows more efficient use of the suppressor’s working volume.
Third, the internal walls of the suppressor that are adjacent to the barrel help reduce vibration generated during firing, which positively affects the service life of the weapon system.
The suppressor is non-disassemblable; the sound-absorbing elements and the body are made of titanium.
No cleaning is required after shooting.
The first 5–15 shots may be accompanied by muzzle flash.
The internal chambers of the device are designed to maximally swirl the propellant gases rather than cut them off.
The suppressor is designed to operate with both supersonic and subsonic ammunition. Manufactured using advanced technologies, making it durable and robust.
The suppressor can also be used with the Soviet 12.7×108 mm caliber.
This caliber is less common, but the domestic high-precision sniper rifle SGM-12.7 uses it.
