The first installation of an NVO “Tihon” device must always be carried out by an experienced and competent gunsmith, even if the rifle already has a factory muzzle thread.

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation of a suppressor.

Never use a suppressor with a crush washer.

Make sure you are using a suppressor designed for your calibre. If you are in any doubt, call us or send an e-mail and ask.

Hand-loaded ammunition should be used with caution. “Hot” and “reduced” loads can fail and, as a result, damage the NVO “Tihon” device and the firearm, or damage other objects nearby.

Before use, make sure the NVO “Tihon” device is securely attached to the firearm. Always inspect the device for damage. After removing the device, let it cool down before putting it into a bag or similar pouch.
