• Easy installation – true drop-in, no special tools.

Purpose

The kit keeps the safety lever locked in the selected position, prevents unintended movement and stabilizes the fire control group during sustained fire.

Compatibility

• Platforms: AR-15; AR-10 lowers that follow AR-15 selector geometry.
• Selectors: standard and ambidextrous.
• Grips: A2/aftermarket grips with a detent-spring channel.

Materials & finish

• Detent: brass, precision turned; will naturally develop a patina over time.
• Spring: spring steel, heat treated; anti-corrosion protected.
• Tolerances: MIL-SPEC geometry for consistent seating.

Installation

1. Insert the brass detent into the selector bore in the lower receiver.
2. Place the spring in the pistol-grip channel and secure the grip.
3. Do not overtighten the grip screw to avoid binding the selector movement.

• Install: drop-in, no modification.

FAQ

Selector feels mushy or overshoots clicks – fixes

Common causes are a worn detent or an over-compressed/short spring. Replace the detent and verify spring length and preload.

Do I need lubrication
