Adjustable Gas Piston for AK‑74, AKM

Titanium Adjustable Gas Piston (Rod) for AK‑74, AKM, and Similar Carbines
An excellent choice for shooters who value comfortable and accurate shooting.

The advantage of an adjustable piston over a non‑adjustable one is that it provides smooth regulation of the amount of gas, allowing a reduction in muzzle rise from the line of sight.

Thanks to this design, shooting becomes significantly more comfortable and accurate.

With the piston channel fully opened, it is possible to achieve AK operation in a bolt‑action mode.

When properly adjusted, the recoil impulse created by the bolt carrier group striking the receiver is virtually eliminated, since the rearward movement of the bolt carrier group does not produce an impact on the receiver, yet the travel is sufficient to eject the spent casing and chamber the next round from the magazine.

Material

The titanium used to manufacture this gas piston provides high strength and lightweight construction, making it stronger and lighter than the factory component.

Ease of Installation

Thanks to simple installation, which takes only 5–10 minutes, you can easily install the piston on your AK yourself.

It is an analogue of a proven and well‑established American product.

The adjustable piston solves the imbalance of the AK gas‑operated system without interfering with the core components.
